Berkley Charter School Visitor Lunch Schedule

School Lunch Visitor Schedule

Students may purchase a school lunch or bring a packed lunch from home. Food from outside vendors is not permitted.

Parents are welcome to eat lunch with ONLY their child on the assigned day at the tables outside in the court yard area. If the weather is unfavorable visitors will not be permitted. Parents and/or visitors for lunch must check in at the front office, show ID, and sign in at the visitor registry. All lunch visitors must be listed on the student’s emergency card and marked as “Allowed Personal Contact.” No visitors are permitted on Fridays or Early Release days. Parents must stay in the court yard area near the café where the tables are located. Also be mindful of the lunch times to ensure your student goes back to class when his/her class leaves the café. We are not able to provide lunch to visitors at this time. If you want, please bring your own packed lunch and meet your student outside the café at the tables. Your student can bring his/her lunch and meet you at the tables.

We want students to get acclimated to a regular routine at the beginning of the school year so lunch visitors will not start until after the beginning of September.

Students with last names beginning with the following letters will be allowed lunch visitors on the following day of the week:

Monday – U-Z
Tuesday – A-G
Wednesday – H-M
Thursday – N-T

The café is closed to outside visitors the last quarter of the school year due to multiple activities and end of the year testing generally scheduled during this time frame.
